Jimmy Choo Mulls the Stock Exchange & Sofia Vergara’s first fragrance

Jimmy Choo’s IPO
Britain based Luxury Brand Jimmy Choo famous for their attention grabbing heels is considering a listing on the London Stock Exchange. The initial public offering (IPO) is being considered by its owner the consortium Labelux Group, to raise funds to finance the brands expansion, particularly in Asia and the important Chinese market where the brand has experienced recent rapid growth. The move would see the Labelux group retain a majority stake in the brand which could value the entire business at £1 billion ($1.6 billion).

Colombian actress and model Sofía Vergara famous for her role on ABC Network’s sitcom Modern Family, is to launch her new perfume simply called ‘Sofia’ in partnership with fragrance house Parlux Ltd. Sofia Vergara opined that she wanted the fragrance to speak to both her Hispanic background and her personal fragrance preferences, with the perfume having top notes of blackberry, cassis buds and plums, mid notes of violent, Colombian rose and Colombian orchard and deep base notes of vanilla and sandalwood.

Mich Jagger on L'Wren Scott's Suicide
Mick Jagger frontman of one of the world’s most famous rock bands the Rolling Stones, has issued a public statement in reaction to the suicide of long term partner, American fashion designer L’Wren Scott, in which he expressed his dismay, saying he was "still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way". Bandmate Keith Richards expressed his shock at the suicide and his support of his friend and ‘soul-brother’ Mick Jagger.
